Shoes. Oh, shoes. They can be a curious conundrum. Searching for the perfect combination of quality, local craftsmanship, ethical production, and eco-consciousness is no small task. In my circle, these details are increasingly scrutinized—particularly when it comes to the shoes we choose to grace our feet. Yet in a world flooded with brands hawking their wares across countless online platforms, the image of those steadfast, high-quality, expertly crafted houses—brands that have earned their reputation over decades—can easily get lost in the noise.
But fear not, dear reader. At Sky Blue, we’ve done the legwork so you don’t have to. We’re here to cut through the clutter and introduce you to one of our unequivocal favourites: Carmina. Hailing from the sun-drenched island of Majorca, Carmina carries a noble legacy that stretches back to 1866. For generations, the Albaladejo family has perfected the art of bespoke shoemaking in the town of Inca. Today, their creations can be found not only across prominent Spanish cities but also in Paris and New York—all handcrafted in Majorca using the time-honoured Goodyear welt technique.
Why settle for anything less than the best? Let Carmina elevate your shoe game, guiding you on a journey of unparalleled craftsmanship, elegance, and enduring style.
