Published internationally once per year, and Paris based, it introduces the modern man to an urbane daydream by way of classic tailoring and high-end fashion in a seductive spirit. Sky Blue makes a mark as having a unique visual presence in the current sphere of printed press. Sky Blue also celebrates the written word by publishing the oeuvres of numerous different authors contributing essays and fictional works relevant to the publication. Timeless style and attitude designed to build an intrigue and evoke an impact on the reader, Sky Blue is a distinctively different brand of menswear at the newstand today.
Sky Blue - Gentleman’s Review prides itself on retaining a coveted presence in the marketplace. It is sold as a hard-bound fabric covered book, printed on quality, semi-mat paper, with a large-scale format (25 cm x 30 cm), it exists in the ever-popular ‘Coffee Table Book’ literary sphere. At roughly 130 pages per issue, with a limited number of copies printed per release, it continues to be distributed internationally by KD Presse, in cities as New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Milan, Paris, and London.

In 2019, Sky Blue was founded through the vision of James V. Thomas, who set out to challenge the conventions of mainstream magazines, which predominantly centered on sportswear and entertainment. Rather than adhering to these norms, he aspired to create a publication that not only impressed with its visual elegance but also engaged readers through compelling and thought-provoking content.
Originally from the outskirts of Philadelphia, James moved to Paris at the age of 18 to study fashion, a journey that led him to discover his true calling. Today, he travels the world in pursuit of evocative nostalgia, timeless beauty, unparalleled craftsmanship, and, of course, a well-crafted cocktail.
Sky Blue brings together a distinguished network of James' like-minded peers—each offering a distinct perspective on life. Together, they curate a publication that is both intellectually stimulating and visually striking, inspiring readers to explore their own passions with depth and curiosity.
